The Parent Teacher Organization (P.T.O.) is a non-profit organization that provides programs and materials to enrich extracurricular, social, and educational activities. Its aim is to support the school and strengthen the relationship among home, school, and the community. It is through joint efforts that a better school experience is provided. Membership dues, along with proceeds from fund-raisers further these objectives. Meetings are held once per month on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and membership is open to all teachers, parents or guardians of JHS children. Each year is filled with many rich and diverse learning opportunities for the children. All parents are encouraged to become as involved as possible.
