Welcome From The PTO President

August, 2021

Hello Everyone! I’d like to take a moment to give a huge warm welcome to all of our new families, existing families and the entire staff at JHS!! I am Jillian Shove, PTO President here at Jerome. This will be my third year on the board as President. When my son first started school, it quickly became such a special place to me. We have been very fortunate over the last couple years to have some awesome fundraisers. Along with the generosity of our families we have been able to raise funds to do some pretty amazing things! The PTO is such an important piece of the puzzle to what makes Jerome the wonderful place that it is.  Last year we missed out on a few of our events early on in the year, but we were able to finish the year off with an in person book fair for the students and our JHS Fun Day. The smiles on the children’s faces said it all and the reason why we do what we do! We have been brainstorming over the summer and while we don’t know exactly what the future holds for events this year, we will be ready with a plan B!  I hope that you have all enjoyed your summer vacation and hope to see new and returning faces at our first meeting in September! Myself and fellow board members Mary-Elissa, Andrea and Vicki are looking forward to a successful and fun year ahead!

Thanks to our Parent Volunteers

You are all amazing!

What is The PTO

The Parent Teacher Organization (P.T.O.) is a non-profit organization that provides programs and materials to enrich extracurricular, social, and educational activities. Its aim is to support the school and strengthen the relationship among home, school, and the community. It is through joint efforts that a better school experience is provided. Membership dues, along with proceeds from fund-raisers further these objectives. Meetings are held once per month on the first Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. and membership is open to all teachers, parents or guardians of JHS children. Each year is filled with many rich and diverse learning opportunities for the children. All parents are encouraged to become as involved as possible.
