Welcome to Jerome Harrison School!

JHS is a special place because of the people who make up our community: our students, staff, and families. As a PreK–2 school, we have the incredible opportunity to help shape some of our students’ very first experiences with school, and we want those experiences to be filled with joy, curiosity, creativity, connection, and lots of thinking.

We believe young children learn best when they feel safe, known, and valued...and when they are given opportunities to wonder, ask questions, explore ideas, take risks, play, and make their thinking visible. Our teachers and staff work hard to create classrooms where children are active participants in their learning and where we nurture their academic, social, emotional, and creative growth.

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We want every child to know there are adults at JHS who believe in them, and we want our families to feel like true partners in their child’s experience here. Your voice matters, and our doors are always open.

Most of all, we want our students to love coming to school. These early years matter, and I feel incredibly fortunate to spend them alongside our students, staff, and families.
