Connecticut General Statute 10 - 184 requires that all student absences must be reported to the school office. Whenever your child is absent, the school should be notified.

The Attendance Procedure has changed. There is no longer an attendance line to leave notification of an absence. If your child is unable to attend school or will arrive late, Please call (203) 484-1235 between 8:15 & 9:00 and speak directly to a secretary.

The list of absences called in by phone will be checked against the teacher's absentee list. Any absence reported by the teacher but not by the parent will alert the school to a potential problem and will necessitate a call to you either at home or at work.

THIS PROCEDURE IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN.
